My niece's e6 stopped charging. After the standard steps I could not get it to charge. I tried putting the e6 on my J7 charger, which I know works, and nothing. I put our J7 on the e6 charger and it charges. I took out the e6 battery and put it in the J7 and put it on the charger and it charged. When I put the e6 battery back in the e6, there was no life from the e6.
Checking for continuity between the positive terminal for the battery on the e6 and the positive contact for the charger, it shows an open circuit. I tore it down to the board and tested continuity between the positive connector that comes from the charger and the positive terminal where the battery connects, and it shows open. In both cases the negative side gave me a reading.
All this to say I think the board is bad but would like opinions from people who have had more experience with these.
