Botvac Connected Issues

Hi,

I have a botvac connected from, I think, 2017ish. The battery has not been charging so I bought a new one. Before I replaced the old battery I restarted the system, and it came up with an error 'Please contact Customer Support. (7000)'
I tried shutdown and reset through switching off the robot, and via software holding down the home button but it still comes up. If I push the home button it will start and vaccuum as per normal, just with displayed error.
Do you think actually replacing the battery will fix this? I am not sure if I can send it back for a refund, Support said i should send robot in for a service but really dont know if I should just give up on it. It will be expensive here in Australia. Any thoughts?
