I bought a Roomba SE from Brookstone and it died after couple of uses.
I thought instead of going back to Brookstone and replace it, I will use the warranty and although I will be without a Roomba for 10 days, atleast I will get a second complete kit.
I never did understand why iRobot actually sends complete new kits, but apparenty they came to that conclusion too.
The Unit I received does seem new, but it was just the Roomba, in a non-sealed brown box without any accessories.
If they changed their policy, it's definitely not worth sending them the unit ($10 for sending the brush guard), but rather go and replace it at the store.
Did iRobot change their replacement policy or I just got the wrong box?
Anyone else received just the unit in a brown box?
iRobot no longer send complete kits as replacements

Definitly not as good as before, but for your $10 you get to keep your old one to play with, dissassemble, or fix ...C wrote:If they changed their policy, it's definitely not worth sending them the unit ($10 for sending the brush guard), but rather go and replace it at the store.
I think it was worth it for me... but hey, I'm a geek...
