Difficulty removing scooba tank
I am a new member and new owner of a Scooba 380 and a Roomba Scheduler. So far I'm loving both of my new "employees" but I'm having one minor issue with my scooba. The tank is very difficult to remove. Is this a common problem? I've searched through the forum and the FAQs and didn't see any comments on this. My husband has been getting it off for me and even he is having trouble. Is there a trick to it that we don't know? Just now after finishing using scooba in my kitchen, we're afraid we might have broken something on the handle trying to get it off. We don't know for sure because we're afraid to put it back together because we might not be able to get it off again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

knitting fool, you are not alone. A lot of us Scooba owners have gone through what you are experiencing. I've got two Scooba 5900s and one of them had the same condition. I used a dull butter knife inserted between the base and the tank. Once inserted, use a twisting motion and press on the handle release at the same time. This works for me and after a few times using the butter knife method the tank releases without help now.

My 3xx is still difficult after more than a bunch of runs. I tip it back almost upside down and press the release. Gravity makes it release.
