Roomba Scheduler vs. Roomba Discovery

Post by JBElliott »

Other than the obvious difference of the scheduling feature, what are the differences between the Scheduler and Discovery?

Is there a web site with a comparison between the two?

If there was only a ten dollar difference in price, which would be better to buy (if the the fast recharge was or primary importance while the scheduling ability was secondary)?

Thanks.

Now you have another problem, they can both be scheduled. I wouldn't go for the faster charging option. The slower charger will help you have a longer lasting battery. The IRobot website has a chart you can look at for some comparison information.

Scheduling is pretty cool. And if your Roomba is running daily on a schedule, you probably won't be sending him on extra missions each day, so it doesn't matter how fast the battery charges.

_And_ this morning I was awakened by my Roomba's little song that he plays before heading off to clean. Yup, I'd somehow un-set my alarm clock, and Pedro saved me from being late to work.

Thanks for the input. I hadn't thought about the battery life vs. fast recharging issue.
