4XX brushes in 5XX series.
I know its been discussed before but I cant find the posts. Does anybody use the 4XX series in the 5XX series bots? Do they fit? If so, how well do they work? The brush on my 535 seems to hold more hair on the ends than it puts in the bin.

Here's a picture of the two 5XX brush drive gears. On the left side is the 4XXX brush, in the center is the 5XX beater bar and on the right is the 4XXX beater bar. The diameter of the far right 4XXX beater bar is much smaller than the 5XX drive gear and will strip out the square shape of the beater bar and gear if used.

I'm just chiming in since I have been doing this since day 1 with my 560. I have been using both 4xxx pet upgrade brushes in my 560. Vic7767 is right about the beater bar being smaller in diameter(There is free play). However, it has not stripped out. Does this produce better results by taking a chance? In my place, yes. Other places, no. I might be lucky in not having my gear stripped out. Do so at your own risk.
