Day # 2 was very eventful and there were a few new robotic booths that we didn't get to on the first day.
We still wandered around from area to area, and I walked 6,000 steps which equals over 3 miles. One definately gets excersise when attending the CES. The weather was overcast and a little bit cooler outside which was a blessing since it gets very hot inside.
Speaking about walking and excersise, one of the booths that I attended was Dynaflex International. They have Revolutionary gyroscopic-resistance trainers and fitness gear. I had the opportunity to try their Powerball Gamer. It's designed to:
There is a digital speed meter which displays different information.
Their other products are:
Xtreme Steel
Platinum Powerball
Powerball Gamer
Dynamax Core Trainer 2
Lighted Gyro - Blue
Blue Gyro + Docking Station
Lighted Gyro - Amber
Amber Gyro + Docking Station
Pro Plus Gyro
Pro Plus Gyro + Docking Station
Pro Gyro

They are located in North Hall 4920. If you are constantly on the computer and typing away, you NEED to get one of these so you don't get carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This model (and others) are currently available and this model goes for roughly $23.94-$45.95 (Depending on the vendor). Hope to see them at The Last Gadget Standing tomorrow!! Their website: Dynaflex International
We had the opportunity to see Gamma Two Robotics which is based out of Denver, Colorado. They are offering two different robots as of now. Their BSL, or Basic Service Level robot is designed for practical tasks like offering food to guests, carrying groceries to the kitchen, or carrying books, papers, or medications from room to room.
Their other robot is called WLMA, or Wheelchair Level Mobility Assistant that is built to be at a height most helpful to induviduals in wheelchairs. It has all of the functionality of the BSL robot. Both robots enable the user to talk to the robot, and it will respond. You can set times to remind you to take medication, or to autonomously move around your home. You don't use a keyboard. You speak with certain commands, and it will reply. You can move the robot to your couch and mark specifically as the couch. After that, you can tell the robot to move to the couch. Seeing this robot communicate in person was truly amazing! This is still in the prototype stage, and there is no set release date or set price. Their website: Gamma Two Robotics
innovo labs is responsible for the loveable Pleo dinosaur. They have upgraded the Pleo with different firmware, actions, upgraded the skeleton and with a different texture. From their website, it is available now and for a price of $349.00. They say that you can only get the new upgraded Pleo from their website at this time. Their website: Pleoworld
This day wasn't as stressful as the first day, since the Tech Zone Robotic area is very small this year. I don't think that there are any other robotic vendors at the show. But, hopefully there is another robotic vendor hiding somewhere within the huge crowd at the CES..
Stay tuned for tomorrow's Blog!! The Last Gadget Standing is tomorrow. We welcome any and all 'hot' products slated to appear at CES. Our experts screen them. They'll continue to narrow the list until we get to a Top 25 and then a Top 10. We'll also conduct a online vote among the Top 25 to determine a "people's winner." The Top 10 will appear at a CES Supersession where a live voting audience will determine which deserves to be the Last Gadget Standing.
