Light Touch Bumpers
Roomba 500 Series includes a proximity sensoring capability that allows Roomba to slow down before the front bumper knocks into furniture, walls, or pets. This results in quieter operation (although sometimes slower), less damage to home furnishings, and presumably less wear and tear to the robot.
